Resonant Retreats are lovingly held and guided by George and Almira of The Sound Shift, with Menteath Skincare partnering to bring a deeply sensory ritual dimension to the experience. This is our third retreat together, and each one has been profoundly transformative - shaped by the care, depth and presence they bring to every space they create.
George and Almira curate experiences that are immersive, intentional and beautifully grounded. Their work centres on sound, breath and nervous system restoration, gently guiding you back to your body and your inner rhythm. Everything is thoughtfully woven - from the flow of the days to the emotional and energetic journey - allowing change to unfold naturally, safely, in response to the elements that surround you.
Our first retreat together was held in Umbria, set within a contemporary reimagining of a monastery built seamlessly into the hills and surrounding nature. That experience established the tone for what Resonant Retreats would become: elemental settings, refined simplicity, deep rest and meaningful connection. Each retreat since has evolved organically, shaped by place and held with George and Almira’s intuitive care.
At Menteath, we align with their philosophy wholeheartedly. We believe healing begins through the senses - through touch, scent, ritual and the intelligence of the skin. Within the retreat space, we offer sensory skincare rituals that complement the sound journeys, breathwork and ceremonial practices they hold. Where their work harmonises through vibration and breath, ours anchors through touch and embodied ritual.
